Recommendations for installing your GreenAgric Bespoke Tunnel ...

Congratulations on purchasing your GreenAgric Bespoke Grow Tunnel ...

You will receive
* Support Poles
* 2m Steel Link Poles …
* Vertical Support Poles …
* and one or more bags containing 3 pieces of Shade Cloth
* 400mm Pins ...
* Aluminium Tape ...

* Firstly join two support poles with the 400mm pins provided … select the ends where you will find holes drilled into the support poles at 250mm from the ends … you might like to use a small amount of dishwashing liquid to make this task easier … insert the pins 200mm into each support pole … the finished product being one complete span 14.4m in length …

* Clean the centre joint to get rid of any moisture, then bind the joint with the aluminium tape provided … the roll will be sufficient to bind all joints on the complete tunnel, so use sparingly …

* Now insert the inner support poles, the ones that are NOT at both ends of your tunnel, by slotting one end over a Y Standard, then bending the 14m pole to slot in the other corresponding side … width ways … Please note that this is usually a two person exercise …

* Now thread one end of the shade cloth onto one of the end support poles, then slot one end of the support pole over a Y Standard, then bend the pole to slot in the other corresponding side … again width ways …

* Now pull the shade cloth over the inner support poles, then thread the end onto the final support pole … again slot one end onto the Y Standard, then bend the pole to slot in the other end … again width ways …

* Now insert the 2m Link Poles in the drilled holes at the apex of the Support Poles …
and also at 3.6m from the ground … 4 rows of link poles …

* The ends of the support poles should be 5cms to 10 cms below ground level … this will ensure that the ends of shade cloth will also be below ground level ...

* Taking one of the end pieces of shade cloth, start attaching it with the cable ties to an end support pole and main shade cloth in the middle and then work sideways … it is important that you keep the end pieces of shade cloth square as you attach them … stretch the shade cloth as you attach it ...

* Now do the same at the other end …

* If your tunnel comes supplied with Zip Doorways, then choose which end you prefer the opening …

* If you have purchased either wooden or aluminium doorways …
At the one end of the tunnel create your doorway, by attaching an outer and inner wooden / aluminium door frame in the centre … and securing it at the top to the support pole and to a wooden / aluminium pole beneath ground level at the bottom … this can be constructed using rough inexpensive timber ... with the aluminium option, an extra length has been supplied …

* Take the nylon cord and attach it below ground level to one of the support poles, all around the tunnel … when you pass a Y Standard, pull the cord and wrap it around the Y Standard … continue to do this all around the tunnel ...

* Staple the end shade cloth piece to the inner and outer wooden door frames … or with the aluminium doorway, attached the shade cloth using the cable ties supplied … once you have done this make a cut on the shade cloth between the inner and outer frames …

* You have been supplied with Vertical Support Poles … choose where you wish to install these …
either in the centre of the tunnel, or to either side of a centre walkway …
we have supplied sufficient for either of these options …
They are designed to be installed + - 500mm below ground level, directly under the main tunnel support poles … so you will need to position them correctly to give best results …
Drill 5mm holes in both the main support poles and the vertical support poles, at the point where they meet at the top of the tunnel and use cable ties or baling wire to tie them together …

* Back fill your perimeter trench … now stand back and admire your tunnel !!! …
then please take a few photos and send them to GreenAgric ...

Should you need any further help with the installation of your tunnel, please do not hesitate to call me as many times as is required …

Good Luck !!! …
