Time to 'Get Back to Basics' ...

If you value your health and that of your Family, then you should be growing your own Organic Fruit, Veggies and Herbs …

We unfortunately live in a world where Governments dictate what we eat …
and a very large % of the food in our supermarkets is now GM – Genetically Modified …
and it's a proven fact that GM food causes Cancer, Heart Disease and Diabetes …

Also the so called 'fresh produce' that is available is highly likely to be TOXIC …
as NO tests are conducted to ensure that is fit for human consumption …

So start 'Growing Your Own Food' … it's like 'printing your own money' … it's less expensive, really fresh and tasty, and will go a long way to ensuring better health …

Here are some simple ways to go about it ...

* Your growing beds should ideally run East to West in their length … to ensure even exposure to the sun …
* No Tillage … it is highly recommended that you do not turn over the topsoil, as you do not want to disturb the beneficial microbes, which are in the top 200 mm …

* After clearing the area you plan to use as your garden, it is recommended that you layer crumbled horse manure, then wood shavings, then straw or hay … each layer to a depth of approx 50 mm … giving you a mulch layer of 150 mm …
This will stop most weeds and grass from regrowing in the beds and will also supply food for the next 6 months for the microbes …
The earthworms and microbes will gladly pull the organic matter into the soil, where it is broken down, opening it up for fungal and bacterial decay …
* Mulch also helps with the aeration of the soil, as well as retaining moisture for longer … so you can expect to use less water and need to irrigate less often ...
* When clearing the area, it is recommended that you do
NOTuse any weedkillers nor pesticides …

*
Floor sweepings from stables are usually free …
